The most contested and impressive competition is back again! Aniventure Comic Con 2025 is welcoming everyone who wishes to participate in the cosplay show on July 5 and 6 in Hall 1 of the Inter Expo Center. You can find the registration form and the rules HERE. Categories in which participants can take part:

• Greatest Resemblance to Original – Award for overall resemblance to original character. This category takes into account the costume, the appearance of the participant and their stage behaviour. Prizes – 1000 BGN for gaming day and 1000 BGN for anime/film day.
• Best Costume – Awarded to the costume that bears the greatest resemblance to the original. The look of the participant is not taken into account here, only the complexity and performance of the costume. Prizes – 700 BGN for gaming day and 700 BGN for anime/film day.
• Best Stage Performance – the category where the most charismatic participant who has become a crowd/jury favourite is awarded, regardless of the quality and complexity of the costume. Prizes – 300 BGN for gaming day and 300 BGN for anime/film day.
• Best Armor – an award for the best-crafted armor. The evaluation is based on complexity, detail, creativity, functionality, and the scale of the craftsmanship. Prizes include themed materials for cosplay creation, provided by the specialized store https://cosplayshop.be
• Best Prop – an award for the best weapons, accessories, or costume decorations. The evaluation is based on complexity, detail, creativity, functionality, and the scale of the craftsmanship. Only props handcrafted by the participant are eligible. Prizes include themed materials for cosplay creation, provided by the specialized store https://cosplayshop.be.
• Best Makeup – an award for the most complex and impressive makeup. This category also includes the creation of special prosthetics used to alter the shape of the face or body. Prizes include themed materials for cosplay creation, provided by the specialized store https://cosplayshop.be.

This year, the competition will also announce special winners who will have the opportunity to take part in the following international qualifiers:

If East Asia fascinates you and your captivating stories have inspired half of your friends to get into Japan or another Asian country, if you have in-depth knowledge on topics, related to anime and manga, then the stage at Aniventure Comic Con is waiting for you!

Prepare a presentation on a topic related to East Asia, which you will personally present during Aniventure Comic Con. Be sure to include at least one of the following countries: Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Vietnam, North Korea.

You’ll earn bonus points if your lecture is not focused solely on one country and includes comparisons/parallels, as much as possible, with one of the following themes:

1. Mythology, culture, classic art
2. Education, inovations, XXI century’s way
3. Contemporary audio-visual medias – games, animation, TV shows, movies
4. Comics, literature, music, pop-culture
5. Social structures, everyday life, architecture.

Your performence must be no longer than 20 minutes.

Korean pop music, known as K-pop, has managed to transcend its homeland and become a global phenomenon in just a few years. Fans of this music in our country have been showing for years that they are more than just consumers, by forming their own dance groups that are gaining more and more popularity!

Aniventure Comic Con gives a stage to some of the best Bulgarian K-Pop groups, whose show is one of the most anticipated moments during the festival! Full terms and conditions of participation can be found HERE.

The AMV competition is aomng the favourite moments for Aniventure Comic Con visitors. AMV stands for Anime Music Videos. These are videos created by talented anime fans who have mastered the art of video editing to unexpected heights. footage from one or more anime is edited as music videos to selected songs – guaranteed to bring a whole palette of emotions to their fans, and most often, a lot of laughs.

Want to see your manga printed on paper and read by all the visitors at Aniventure Comic Con 2025?

Aniventure Comic Con and Manga Academy invite you to take the path of your favorite manga authors and create your story in drawings!

This year’s theme for the contest is “At the end/edge of the world”. Comics don’t have to be created specifically for the contest. You can enter old work, as long as it hasn’t previously been entered in any of the Anivencher contests and you still own the rights to publish it.

All of you drawing enthusiasts – this one’s for you! This year the theme is “At the end/edge of the world” and there are two categories:

Digital* or Traditional** drawings by participants aged 15 and under.

Digital* or traditional** drawings by participants aged 16 and over.

*Digital – drawings created on a computer. This category does not include collages or digital manipulations of original or others’ work.

**Traditional – drawing on paper or canvas in a technique and material of choice.

The Talents Alley in Hall 2 is the place where every artist can present their work and visitors can meet the artists in person and purchase their work.

If you are an artist and wish to participate, here’s what you need to know: authors should only submit original works that are in some way related to anime, manga, or Asia in general.

Due to the growing interest in the festival and the Alley, this year there is a 300 lv. entry fee for both days, which includes one ticket to the event. Also, seats are limited, so there will be an additional selection if there are more people wanting to attend than the allotted spots.

Those interested in participating in the Talent Alley can submit an application until 27.04.2025.
