Pop Culture Hiroshima
Especially for Aniventure Comic Con 2024, we have a great surprise for you! This year for the first time Bulgaria becomes a part of the “Pop Culture Hiroshima” event and will send two representatives to participate in Japan!
Pop Culture Hiroshima will take place in Hiroshima on 12-13 October 2024. The main goal is cultural exchange between all participants – meeting cosplayers from all over the world, sharing experiences and making new acquaintances, spending time together in the beautiful corners of Japan. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a cosplay parade, walk and take photos in front of key locations in the city, and there will be a stage where there will be many events and including a cosplay show in which selected representatives will take part. The show there is non-competitive in nature and there are no judges or prizes.
Participants who have entered the Aniventure Comic Con 2024 cosplay contest can compete for this unique opportunity.
Full eligibility requirements can be found HERE.
K-POP
Korean pop music, known as K-pop, has managed to transcend its homeland and become a global phenomenon in just a few years. Fans of this music in our country have been showing for years that they are more than just consumers by forming their own dance groups that are gaining more and more popularity!
Aniventure Comic Con gives a stage to some of the best Bulgarian K-Pop groups, whose show is one of the most anticipated moments during the festival! Full terms and conditions of participation can be found HERE.
ORIENTARHYTHM
This year at Aniventure Comic Con, we are pleased to bring you something truly unique! ORIENTARHYTHM is coming to us especially from the Land of the Rising Sun!
Katsumi Sakakura, Eiko Iwaki, and Mami Miyamoto are an artistic group that expresses the movements, rhythms, and spiritual attitude unique to Japanese traditional culture (and especially Japanese traditional martial arts “BUDO”) as art, and spreads it worldwide.
With a unique combination of dance, martial arts and video projection that are synchronized to perfection, they will immerse us in the world of Japanese culture.
Can the path of martial arts enrich people’s lives, filling them with peace and beauty? Find out with us on July 6 and 7!
Social Networks:
AMV
The AMV race is one of the favorite moments of Aniventure visitors. Behind the seemingly unfamiliar letters AMV are actually Anime Music Videos. These are videos created by talented anime fans who have mastered the art of video editing to unexpected heights. In them, footage from one or more anime is edited as music videos to selected songs – guaranteed to bring a whole palette of emotions to their fans, and most often, a lot of laughs.

Manga
Want to see your manga printed on paper and read by all the attendees at Aniventure Comic Con 2024?
Aniventure Comic Con and Manga Academy invite you to take the path of your favorite manga authors and create your story in drawings!
This year’s theme for the contest is “Nostalgia”.
Nostalgia is the story behind ordinary things, a piece of the past that is alive in the here and now. What about you? A needed dose of bitterness to sweeten life? Something that gives us roots or something that keeps us from moving forward and seeing the future? Tell us in a story.
Comics don’t have to be created specifically for the contest. You can enter old work, as long as it hasn’t previously been entered in any of the Anivencher contests and you still own the rights to publish it.
The full terms and conditions for this year’s competition can be found HERE.
ART
Another of Aniventure’s favorite comic con contests is back once again! All you drawing
enthusiasts – this one’s for you!
This year the theme is “Reflections” and there are two categories:
Digital* or Traditional** drawings by participants aged 16 and under.
Digital* or traditional** drawings by participants aged 16 and over.
*Digital – drawings created on a computer. This category does not include collages or digital manipulations of original or others’ work.
**Traditional – drawing on paper or canvas in a technique and material of choice.
Full entry requirements can be found HERE.
The deadline for entries is May 26, 2024.
Arts & Crafts
One of the most sought-after areas within the event is the workshop area. This is where you can make your own unique keepsake, under the watchful eye and advice of an instructor. A beautiful origami, a knitted kitten, a quirky pixelart or something else.
Attention! Due to popular demand, places are going fast, so come early. You don’t need to bring anything.
Talents Alley
The Talents Alley in Hall 2 is the place where every artist can present their work and visitors can meet the artists in person and purchase their work.
If you are an artist and wish to participate, here’s what you need to know: authors should only submit original works that are in some way related to anime, manga, or Asia in general.
Due to the growing interest in the festival and the Alley, this year there is a 250 lv. entry fee for both days, which includes one ticket to the event. Also, seats are limited, so there will be an additional selection if there are more people wanting to attend than the allotted spots.
Those interested in participating in the Talent Alley can submit an application until 10.05.2024.

Japan Area
One of your favorite areas will find a place for the third year in a row in Hall 2 at Aniventure Comic Con. A designated and decorated Japanese area where you will be able to enjoy various contemporary and traditional Japanese arts.
Ikebana, yukata, maide cafe, manga and much more await you! You’ll feel like you’ve landed in Akihabara or Kyoto for a weekend.
LARP
LARP (Live Action Role Play) is a popular hobby that allows you to transport yourself to a fantasy or historical setting, with all the appearance, behaviour and combat skills of the period.
At Anivesture Comic Con you can visit our Medieval/Fantasy Village, see some interesting or even strange craft, meet quirky characters and fight with them and each other.
To fully immerse yourself in this other realm and dress appropriately, there is a specially prepared wardrobe with themed props, and our characters in the area will help you get into your chosen roles.
For those with a competitive spirit and the more battle-hardened, there will also be various tournaments on both days of the festival.
