On Sunday, July 12, at 11:00 AM in Hall 1, a special panel dedicated to The Heir (“Naslednikat”) awaits you. The film is a new Bulgarian fantasy thriller based on the novel by Denislav Dimchev and Yanitsa Mihaylova. The story combines a striking Gothic and aristocratic atmosphere with a plot filled with danger, difficult choices, and a battle for inheritance.
The cast features some of the most recognizable names in Bulgarian cinema, including Yoana Bukovska, Kalin Vrachanski, Asen Blatechki, Bashar Rahal, and Kitodar Todorov. The film premieres in cinemas on September 11.
Exclusively for Aniventure Comic Con visitors, 5 minutes of footage from the film will be screened in Hall 1, followed by a discussion with director and actor Denislav Dimchev, along with Bashar Rahal, Kitodar Todorov, Yanitsa Mihaylova, Lina Sokolova, Viktor Stoyanov, and Poli Nedkova.
They will also be waiting for fans in “The Heir” zone in Hall 4 from 1:00 PM on Sunday for a Meet & Greet session. Throughout the rest of the event, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of the production through a special photo corner and take part in “The Heir” prize game.
A true legend is coming to Aniventure Comic Con 2026 – Christopher ‘GeT_RiGhT’ Alesund! The Major champion will take over the Monster Energy area where a Meet&Greet with the fans will take place and some of them will have the opportunity to play against him. Also there, he will face the Bulgarian streamer Nikola “Niku” Gyaurov in an exhibition 1v1 match.

Studio ZMEI returns to Aniventure Comic Con with an exclusive look at its most ambitious project to date!
At a special panel in Hall 4 on Sunday, July 12, at 4:45 PM, the Bulgarian animation studio will present Dungeons & Kittens: Long Live the King – its first international feature-length production for the big screen.
Over the past 11 years, Studio ZMEI has been creating animated content that reaches millions of viewers worldwide through leading platforms and broadcasters such as HBO Max, Cartoon Network, Rai Kids, Canal+, and others. Alongside its work on international productions, the studio continues to develop original projects of its own, including The Golden Apple and Mila and Marкo.
With Dungeons & Kittens: Long Live the King, Studio ZMEI takes its next major step forward by entering the world of feature animation. The film is the studio’s first international theatrical co-production and marks an important milestone both for the company and for the continued growth of Bulgarian animation within the European film industry.
The panel will feature behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the film, as well as an opportunity to meet the creative team behind the project. Behind this pen name is Dimitar Slaveykov, the author of some of the most popular Bulgarian gamebooks. In 1993, he published “Izpitanieto”, and went on to create some of the most beloved and unconventional books in which the hero’s choices are in your hands.
During a special Q&A panel in Hall 4, Michael Mindcrime, together with the Gamebooks Association (Sdruzhenie “Knigi-Igri”), will talk more about the world of gamebooks, how branching stories are created, and why this genre continues to attract new fans even today.
For the first time at Aniventure Comic Con, a real professional wrestling tournament will take place, thanks to the wrestling promotion Renegade Wrestling.
WrestleCrown will bring together wrestlers, ambition, and surprises in one place. Expect thrilling matches, unexpected twists, and intense battles as every competitor fights for the chance to claim the wrestling crown.
